Exposed infrastructure

With our Arctic Shield technology, we can further improve materials for highly exposed infrastructure. There are many examples of concrete products within our infrastructure subject to high wear, load and vibrations. Speed bumps, access ramps, railway sleepers, wear surfaces on bridges and bus stops, are a few examples.

Tests have shown that our new technology could make concrete products last up to three times longer, helping cut both maintenance costs and raw material use. Ongoing collaboration with Tyréns will result in detailed sustainability and financial calculations on both sustainability and financial effects from applying Arctic Shield Technology on high-performance concrete used in infrastructure.
